Reception Royal Banquet 2016

On the last day of the Spring half term we held a Whitehall Park Royal Banquet for all the children in Reception classes to celebrate the end of their ‘Once Upon a Time’ topic about fairytales and traditional tales. The children all came in dressed as Princes, Princesses, Queens, Kings, Dragons and even a Corgi and a skeleton from the ‘Royal Dungeon’! Children enjoyed a morning of royal games, making sandwiches for high tea and lots of other exciting activities. In the afternoon we invited our families and the local community to come and share our end of term celebration of all the fabulous learning which had taken place. Children shared their profile books and other books with their families and friends and it was a chance for the children to feel true pride for their learning and developments! Well done!
