Nicola Wright- Staff Governor

Nicki has extensive experience of teaching across the primary age range. Before joining Whitehall Park, she has been the English leader at her previous school for a number of years, and was a member of the schools senior leadership team and saw the school’s Key Stage 1 and 2 results increase year upon year and are now well above national average. Nicki has worked closely with a number of teachers from Nursery to Year 6 to improve their teaching; and has been graded by both OFSTED and the Local Authority, as either ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.

She has experience of working collaboratively with many outside agencies, such as the National Literacy Trust to improve links between parents, carers and the local community.

Nicola is also our Staff Governor in charge of Attainment and Progress. She became Staff Governor because she felt it was an important link between the staff and the governing body and a good opportunity to promote the work that everyone does within the Whitehall Park community.
