Lavender Class went to London Transport Museum last week as part of their ‘Break and Remake’ topic during the Spring term. They were given the chance to compare modern and olden day transport methods and learn about the parts of vehicles and have they have changed and adapted over time. Lavender went into a workshop to design and build their own buses right after boarding an example one at the museum. They also were given then chance to dress up in different uniforms and find out about the life of a taxi driver, bus driver and tube driver. As the children went around the museum, they were given the chance to draw and label what they had found out during their trip. Everyone loved the trip and we want to thank the children for being so brilliantly behaved and so keen to learn more about their topic.
