We are delighted to share the arrival of our new phonics resources ‘Little Wandle’.
These are the decodable books which run alongside the relevant phonics. Every child on the scheme will do 30 minutes phonics and then 30 minutes reading, in their phonic group.
The scheme is for our Reception and Year 1 and Year 2 students (where appropriate).
Every child is given books which match their phonic ability and they will progress through the scheme as they develop their phonics skills.
Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is based on the original Letters and Sounds, but has been extensively revised to provide a complete teaching programme meeting all the expectations of the National Curriculum, the Ofsted Deep Dive into reading and preparing your children to go beyond the expectations of the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check.
