Whitehall Park School is delighted to offer free yoga classes to local parents and their babies aged 3-18 months.
These baby & me classes will strengthen your body, allow you to connect with yourself and your baby through nursery rhymes, massage and gentle movement. The classes are relaxing, fun, friendly and you are welcome to breast-feed, bottle-feed, change nappies and walk around the room as needed.
Yoga mats and props are provided, but bring a muslin or blanket for your baby to lie on.
Term-time only, on Mondays, 10.00-11.00.
About your teacher
Kate Comer’s interest in yoga grew from her study of Eastern philosophy as part of her degree and several extended trips to India. It was when she started to practise yoga regularly that her passion grew and it drives her journey as both teacher and student. Drawn to a variety of yoga practices, she’s been fortunate enough to study under some of the most inspiring teachers and feels blessed to teach all ages and abilities hatha, open, yin, nidra, meditation, gentle, hot, restorative yoga, pre and postnatal yoga.
Kate has a wealth of experience in working with babies and young children both in studio and NHS settings.
