What an amazing day Whitehall Park had celebrating the 25th anniversary World Book Day! The school, staff and pupils were transformed into Alice’s Wonderland .. and looked fantastic! Thank you to all parents and carers for getting into the spirit of the day and helping the children look so fabulous.
During the day children have read the story and taken part in different activities to immerse themselves in the book, including a piece of writing as a response to their day. At lunch time, the children played croquet, took part in a scavenger hunt and older children read to the younger ones in the newly created reading space. We have had a fantastic day celebrating our love of reading, stories and our imagination.
