On Wednesday 30th March, we took part in the first ever Inter-Trust ‘Queen’s Gambit’ chess tournament with 7 other schools from BPET.
We took a team of 6 children, Freddie, Chloe, Mikey, Lucas, Guliver and Joaquim. We were so proud of the children’s chess skills, their focus and team spirit. Overall they came third, out of seven teams, with 65 points!
There were medals for the individual top scorers and we were the only school to win one at each level; Freddie won a bronze, Mikey won a Silver and Lucas, the overall top scorer won the gold medal. Congratulations!
