Science Museum

As part of our topic ‘All About Me’, we visited the Science Museum to explore our senses. We had a chance to visit the pattern pod which taught us not only about visual patterns that we can see but also patterns in our environment including sounds, movements and colours. We explored this area and challenged the children to think of their own patterns. We were very impressed! After this we went to an interactive story telling workshop called ‘The Not So Sleep Hedgehog’ which perfectly fit into our science topic of nocturnal animals. We learnt about light sources and found out how shadows are made  (we even have our own rhyme!)

It was a fantastic day and as usual, we cannot thank the parents who came along for supporting us in the day and enabling our trips to happen!
