We’re delighted to say that our proposal for Islington Free Primary School has been selected as one of 102 projects to be approved into the ‘pre-opening’ phase. This is the first milestone in the journey to a successful opening in September 2014 as it means that we are now able to progress our plans with the Department for Education and the Education Funding Agency.
While there is a great deal of work still to be done, our team has a great deal of experience in opening and running ‘Outstanding’ schools and we are looking forward to the challenges and exciting times that lie ahead. The next step is to meet with the Department for Education to discuss the implementation of our plans. We’ll keep everyone updated on our progress.
Huge thanks to all the people who have supported our application and registered their interest in sending their children to the school. Without your support this would not have become a reality and we understand how important it is for you to see this school succeed.
We’ll update the website with all the news but to be the first to know about all the latest developments and future events you can sign up to receive our forthcoming e-newsletter by registering your details on the Demand page.
