Whitehall Park Photography Exhibition
On Thursday 5th October we held the first ever inaugural Whitehall Park Photography exhibition!
Over the summer holidays the Year 3 children were asked to document their time by taking photo graphs. They could take as many as they wanted on any device! Gone are the days of using just a camera!
In school children submitted their photos into different categories that they felt their photo fit into. As with the brilliant Wildlife Photography Exhibition held each year at the National Portrait Gallery, each category would be judged with winners being declared for each category. The children then wrote a blub to go with their photo to say what the photo was of, how they took it and how it made them feel.
There were some truly amazing entries with children using light and framing in some really imaginative ways. The judges found picking the winners and runners up a genuinely difficult decision, but the winners were truly deserving of their certificates.
Well done to every child who submitted their photographs and congratulations to Malaika who was awarded the best photo of the whole competition.
We look forward to the next one in 2018!
